We keep this simple, because the people reading it spend their days protecting the privacy of workers, patients, students, and teams. This page explains what limited personal information this website collects, why, and how it is handled.
What we collect
This site does not require an account and does not track you with advertising cookies. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us:
- Your name and email address, if you email us, request a masterclass invitation, enquire about working together, register for a Scenario Review, or apply for a program.
- Your role, organization—including a school or district when relevant—and the non-identifying responses you choose to provide in a registration, application, cohort inquiry, or return-to-work fit inquiry.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to you, schedule and hold the conversation you requested, and follow up about working together. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it except with the service providers that help us operate. Website registrations and applications are transmitted through Resend so that we can receive your request and send your confirmation, except for direct calendar bookings described below. Return-to-work fit inquiries ask about organizational patterns and desired outcomes, not an identifiable employee or claim. These providers are required to protect the information they process.
Free team cost calculator
When you request the calculator, we save your email address in Resend’s contact database and add it to the “Team cost calculator downloads” group. This records who requested the tool. The form does not subscribe you to marketing emails or change any email preferences you already have.
The website and download are hosted by Vercel. A necessary access cookie lasts up to 30 days so you can open or download the tool without entering your email again. It contains a random access code, not your email address. Calculator answers and team figures are processed in your browser and are not sent to Trace or added to the contact database.
You can ask Trace to remove your contact record using the email below. See Resend’s privacy policy and Vercel’s privacy policy for their handling of service data.
Human-AI Work Lab bookings
The Human Intelligence page uses an embedded Cal.com calendar. Cal.com processes your contact details, organization, booking answers and selected time to schedule your Work Lab. The booking connects to Trace’s Google Calendar and Zoom to create the calendar invitation and meeting link. Please keep your answers non-identifying: don’t include patient, employee or client names, medical information or confidential case details. Booking doesn’t subscribe you to a marketing list. You can also contact Trace by email if you prefer not to use the embedded calendar.

What this site does not do
This website provides information and an estimate calculator. Do not send identifying information about a worker, patient, client, student, claim, or clinical situation through this site or by email. Scenario reviews do not require a live case; names, diagnoses, claim numbers, clinical histories, student records, and other identifying details are not needed.
Your privacy rights in BC
We handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will take care of it.
